Does anyone know what kind of Heckler & Koch MP5 is used in the game?

Well have any images of it been released? --AdAstra2009 17:39, 23 July 2010 (UTC)

I believe so, the creators were talking about "German Submachine guns" being used in the game so it will most likely show up. Did anyone else see the Beretta m93r being used by jaws briefly in the trailer? -GunCrazy93

Looks like a cool game, but Wii exclusive? I know they were going for authenticity, but lets be honest, most of us who played Goldeneye have moved on to PS3 or 360 now, and I doubt that many of us own Wii's, atleast I don't. I was almost excited for this before I read only on the Wii, then it killed it for me. M14fanboy
That's the first thing that I thought too. They're going to give FPS players this gift, a remake of a game that brought FPSs to consoles in the first place... and put it on the worst console for FPSs. It's exclusive on the only console that isn't in HD. I hope it's only exclusive for a short time. --funkychinaman 12:24, 24 July 2010 (UTC)
Indeed Funky, if this stays on Wii, they should expect low sales and constant begging and requests from us serious gamers for it to be proted to proper consoles like PS3 and Xbox 360. M14fanboy

The thread starter is talking, I have the screen-shots of the MP5 in the game. I hope you can identify it.

It is MP5A1, I presume.

In multiplayer videos I've seen what looks like a 9mm HK smg, but without a stock and the barrel looks shorter than an MP5. In the video 'Bond in Siberia' (http://uk.ign.com/videos/2010/10/06/goldeneye-007-bond-in-siberia) you can see a soldier drop such a weapon - pictured below. It looks to me like an MP5K with some kind of accessory rail, though I might be wrong. -CloudCuckoo

Verified - watch this video and check out the reloading - it's an MP5K with the foregrip removed. This gun also has a 20 round mag. The MP5K seems to be called a Sigmus, whereas the MP5A3 is a Sigmus 9. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LggcurmzUoA) -CloudCuckoo

2 P99 section

Why are there 2 section for the P99? One claims the P99 only appears in the DS game and the other just say it is on the Wii game. Excalibur01 03:13, 29 September 2010 (UTC)

new multiplayer footage

http://www.giantbomb.com/quick-look-ex-goldeneye-007-multiplayer/17-3323/ at least I can see a TDI vector and a M16 with M203 but it doesn't seems they are in correct naming though:/

Looks like there's a TAR-21 there too. -CloudCuckoo

Sly 2020

I'm thinking the Sly 2020 is based of a sawed-off Winchester Model 1200/1300 but with an erroneously large magazine. The Sly 2020 has a right side ejector port and ribbed forearm just like the Winchester.

This shotgun is not an actual weapon, it's based off a clip loading airsoft shotgun. It does sort of look like a winchester with a clip on it though.

You're right, it looks like a Smith and Wesson M3000 airsoft shotgun. RadiumMetal 03:18, 28 December 2011 (CST)

Separate article for reloaded?

With the announcement of Goldeneye Reloaded, should we create a separate article for it, or keep it in this article? --GP32GL 18:06, 12 October 2011 (CDT)

It's just a graphical update with no changes to the game itself, from what I've heard. HD remakes and such don't warrant seperate articles. Evil Tim 11:28, 13 October 2011 (CDT)
I think it'll need re-consideration. The 360/PS3 version seem to have different weapon animations then their Wii/DS counterparts. --HashiriyaR32 15:49, 5 November 2011 (CDT)
Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes is the same article as Metal Gear Solid, and that's a whole different engine. Reloaded is essentially just an improved port, a bit like the old Xbox 360 Goldeneye would have been a graphically improved port of the N64 game and probably still go in that article.
