Hell On Wheels (2011)

Griswold & Gunnison

Former Confederate soldier Cullen Bohannon (Anson Mount) carries (is supposed to carry) a Confederate-made Griswold & Gunnison revolver, by which he is recognised in Episode 1. The correct Griswold & Gunnison is visible for a split second at 34:20 in Episode 3, "A New Birth of Freedom."

Colt 1860 Army

During the opening credits sequence, Bohannon is seen with a Colt 1860 Army instead of his usual Griswold & Gunnison (actually he carries an 8 inch barreled Pietta brass frame .44 caliber 1860 with a Navy length grip and brass back strap throughout every episode to date).

Bohannon holds a Colt 1860 (actually a Pietta Brass frame 1860) in the opening credits.

(The property master for the show in a special video clip about the firearms used in the series misidentifies a brass frame Pietta 1860 as a Griswold & Gunnison revolver. Brohannon carries one of those brass frame 1860s in every episode to date and in the video clips from upcoming episodes.)

Remington 1858 New Model Army

Former Union soldier Daniel Johnson (Ted Levine) carries a Remington 1858 New Army in Episode 1.
