Red Dawn (2012)

Red Dawn is the remake of the 1984 Charlie Sheen/Patrick Swayze film of the same name. The remake stars Chris Hemsworth and Jeffrey Dean Morgan and involves an invasion of the continental United States by an enemy force. Originally, the invaders were supposed to be Chinese, but they have been changed to North Koreans. For a time the film was shelved due to MGM's financial troubles in 2010, but in more recent news, it has been confirmed that the remake will be released sometime in 2012

The following weapons appear in the remake of the film Red Dawn:

AKM (Modified to resemble AK-103)

The standard assault rifle of the Korean Peoples Army (KPA) in the film appears to be the AKM, visually modified with the addition of plastic furniture and AK-74-style muzzle brakes to resemble the AK-103. Russian soldiers are also equipped with similar AKMs, but with additional full-length railed forends.
