Typhoon (Korean Title: 태풍/Taepung) is a 2005 Korean action film directed by Kwak Kyung-taek and starring Jang Dong-gun, Lee Jung-jae and Lee Mi-yeon.

M1911A1

The M1911A1 pistol is initially seen in the hands of a Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA) agent guarding a valuable cargo in the introduction, and is later used by ROKN Lieutenant Kang Se-Jong (Jung-Jae Lee) in Russia.

Tokarev TT-33

Korean National Intelligence Service (NIS) agents at a safehouse in Vladivostok curiously armed with Tokarev TT-33 pistols. Sin commandeers a suppressed Tokarev from one of the agents and uses it to escape their custody.

Sin and his pirate band use Norinco Type 56-1 rifles when they seize the cargo ship that the DIA is protecting. Type 56-1s are also used by Toto (Chatthapong Pantanaunkul) and other pirates in the finale.
