The Darkness II is the yet-to-be-released sequel to the wildly popular 2007 videogame, The Darkness. It again features anti-hero Jackie Estacado as he becomes the Don of the Franchetti Family and battles keeping 'The Darkness' bottled inside him. The game will feature the original's impressive normal mapping technology along with a noir-inspired cell shade. It is scheduled to be released on October 4th in North America and the 7th in Europe. More information will be available as the release draws closer.

It appears that Jackie's main weapons are yet again a pair of engraved Colt Series 70s with what appear to wood grips instead of the first game's black ones. However, the Series 70 medallions can still be seen.
