The M60 Machine Gun appears in game as the standard machine gun of the US Army. Carries 100 rounds, but can overheats very easily. An Upgraded Version called the "Death Machine" has a 1,000 backpack magazine and is less prone to overheating.
The RPD Light Machine Gun appears in game as the standard machine gun of the NVA/VC Forces. It, like the M60, holds 100 rounds and can overheat with repeated firing.
The Type 24 Heavy Machine Gun, a Chinese copy of the Maxim MG08, is often found in enemy-held locations. It has unlimited ammo, but like the other machine guns in game, it can overheat.
