Revision as of 04:06, 2 October 2010 by MoviePropMaster2008(talk | contribs)(This converted Romanian SBR is the closest thing US armorers have to what's in the film. :))
Besides his .45, Sam (Robert De Niro) also carries a SIG-Sauer P228 pistol, a compact version of the SIG-Sauer P226. He uses it in the stadium scene to kill one of the the two attackers and also during car chase after that. Near the end of the film, he attempts to kill Seamus (Jonathan Pryce) with it, but is shot. It can also be seen in promotional posters.
Beretta Inox
Vincent (Jean Reno) selects for himself a Beretta 92FS Inox, a stainless steel version of the Beretta 92FS. He is very skilled with the weapon and it is in fact the only weapon he uses throughout the entire movie.
Glock 17L
Gregor (Stellan Skarsgård) throughout the film is armed with a Glock 17L in various stages of modification.
Glock 19
When the arms deal goes south a bodyguard is seen with a Glock 19. The Russian also uses a Glock 19 when trying to rip off Gregor for the case.
Sam (Robert De Niro) opens the film with a M1911A1 pistol which he hides in a gutter at the rear of the first rendezvous point. He uses to take out a sniper and provide cover fire during the arms deal. He switches to a SIG-Sauer P228 after the convoy ambush.
Larry (Skip Sudduth) selects a Taurus PT945 to carry before the arms deal. Gregor (Stellan Skarsgard) also disarms a Russian mafia member of this pistol when he is dealing the package.
Walther P5
During the stadium scene, a German spy armed with a Walther P5 handgun—a modern version of the Walther P38— which he uses it to threaten Vincent (Jean Reno). When Sam (Robert De Niro) interferes, the spy uses the gun to wound Sam in the abdomen. He is then killed by Vincent with his Beretta Inox.
Beretta 92FS
The Russian Boss shoots Gregor with a suppressed Beretta 92FS.
Taurus PT92
Two German spies are armed with the Taurus PT92 during the stadium scene. These are noted as Taurus PT92's by the lack of slide mounted safety and squared trigger guard.
The Beretta PM12S used by the French Police in the movie.
Uzi
Two of the convoy guards carry full sized Israeli made IMI Uzis.
Mini Uzi
When the team are loading up their weapons, an Mini Uzi can be seen sitting on the table.
Heckler & Koch MP5K
Spence (Sean Bean) is armed with an MP5K in the first firefight with the arms dealers.
Skorpion SA Vz 61
Two of the convoy guards are armed with Skorpion SA Vz 61 submachine guns which they employ with great ineffectiveness, since they are distracted by a firecracker-based gunfire simulator.
Beretta M93R
One of the convoy bodyguards is armed with a Beretta M93R pistol capable of 3 round burst fire.
Romanian AK Draco Carbine
During the convoy ambush a bodyguard returns fire from a moving car with a Romanian AK Draco Carbine.
Another shotgun carried by the French Police is the Franchi SPAS-12
Rifles
SIG SG 551
During the first phase of the Convoy ambush, Sam (Robert De Niro) removes a SIG SG 551 assault rifle from the car and uses it to kill a few of the convoy guards. Also on the DVD cover of the film, Vincent (Jean Reno) can be seen holding one with its stock folded.
Sam (Robert De Niro) unleashes an FN MINIMI-Para Mk 2 during the final scene of the convoy ambush. note: in the second image it is possible to make out the earplugs Robert DeNiro wore while firing the weapon
Watch the movie again and it is possible to make out that every character has one. They're suppose to be a communication earpiece.
Sam takes out a convoy car with a type of LAW (Light Anti-Tank Weapon) he fires from his sunroof. The make and type is unknown, although it looks similar to an M72 LAW but it isn't. The body is too thick and it has an optical sight separate from the pop up sights of the LAW style launcher. Also the firing control button is completely unknown. It is probably a mockup fabrication, based on the LAW rocket design.
