SKS
The film opens with a Columbian soldier in a personel truck seen armed with an SKS rifle in the Columbia shootout.
G3
A soldier is seen briefly with a G3 rifle, or what could be an HK91 rifle, but it is never seen close enough.
Steyr AUG
A Columbian soldier is seen very briefly with a Steyr AUG assault rifle.
Browning M2 M1919A4 .30 cal
Seen briefly mounted on a Columbian jeep.
RPD
A Columbian soldier is seen briefly using an RPD.
FN FNC
A Columbian soldier is seen briefly with and FN FNC carbine.
M16A1
Columbian soldiers can be seen with M16A1 rifles.
Colt Python
Campus guards and police officers, as well as the border patrol men all use Colt Python .357 revolvers.
Beretta Prop
Jack Thorpe, the American terrorist uses what looks like a Beretta type pistol, possibley a rubber prop to threaten the school guard. When the guard goes for his gun, it switches to a little .22 auto soundsuppressed mockup.

- Nope, the PT945 didn't hit the market until 1994 (the PT940, its smaller cousin, came out in 1992). It doesn't look like a Taurus at all to me because the safety appears to be slide-mounted, so it's most likely a Beretta 92-series gun. I would need to see a better shot of it to be sure. -MT2008
- He's later seen using a 92SB, but this doesn't look like one. Maybe it's just a prop gun. -Gunmaster45
- If he uses a 92SB later, that's gotta be what this is. If you look closely, it even seems to have the rounded trigger guard, so I think that's what it is. Also, the "prop" guns used in Hollywood are usually real guns. They wouldn't use a rubber stunt version for close-ups like that.
