Talk:Wilkinson Arms
History
Please feel free to add more information Steve, I'll admit I know nothing about these guns. - Gunmaster45
Hey GM, Since Ray Wilkinson died about 10 years ago I have an interview with one of his former partners that is a friend of my family hopefully this week and that should fill out the history on this weapon some what. - Steve
- They haven't been made for a really long time, right? After Gun Digest '87, they aren't listed. -MT2008 03:06, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
- That is correct but the company that bought Wilkinson Arms has been selling them under a different name but the Clinton AWB stopped that until recently. - Steve
use in film
I take it that these are all Film Armory guns? Rockwolf66 04:40, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
Parma, Idaho
Wilkinson Arms was shut down by the ATF for reasons that I've never been real clear on. They were in a small town in Southwestern Idaho called Parma. Parma's only other claim to fame was that Edgar Rice Burroughs, creator of Tarzan, was a city councilmember before World War One. I live about ten miles from Parma and now and again one of the Wilkinson guns will pop up in a local gunstore. --Jcordell 16:01, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
