Cadet William Costigan Jr. (Leonardo DiCaprio) carries a Sig Sauer P228.

When the cadets are training, most of the guns which are seen in the shooting range seem to be Sig Sauer p226, another officer carries one of these pistols:
However, it is true that the only handgun that we see clearly is, indeed, an Astra A-100
