Alien Nation - The Series
Nice, but where's the trigger? This article or section is incomplete. You can help IMFDB by expanding it. |
Alien Nation - The Series was a television series based on the 1988 film Alien Nation starring James Caan and Mandy Patinkin. The Series ran for 22 episodes on the Fox network but was resurrected for several made for TV films. In the series, Detective Sikes was portrayed by Gary Graham and Francisco was portrayed by Eric Pierpoint.
The following guns were used in the show:
Colt Detective Special
An odd choice, but in the Pilot Episode, LAPD Detective George Francisco (Eric Pierpoint) carries a Colt Detective Special. It would have been more correct for him to carry a Model 27 Snub nose (.357 Magnum) which was more common for LAPD detectives in the 1970s-1980s. But upon careful examination of the front end of the barrel (when compared to all of the other Smith & Wesson Snub nosed revolvers in other calibers, this does appear to be a Model 10.
Beretta Model 92SB
In the film Alien Nation, Sikes carried a Model 92FS, but in the television show, the character carries a Beretta Model 92SB pistol.
HK94
- The HK94, the 16" barreled carbine version of the Heckler & Koch MP5 was used by both Detectives Sykes and Francisco during a hostage situation.
HK91
- The HK91, the Civilian version of the Heckler & Koch G3 rifle was used by Detective Sykes.
Smith & Wesson 669
- The Smith & Wesson 669 was the issued sidearm carried by Detective Francisco.
