16 Blocks
The following guns were used in the film 16 Blocks
Glock 17
The Glock 17 appears in the film as the standard sidearm of the New York City Police officers, including Det. Jack Mosley (Bruce Willis) and Det. Frank Nugent (David Morse), and appears frequently throughout the film. Some can also be seen equipped with tactical flashlights being used by N.Y.P.D. SWAT officers.
Ithaca 37
The Ithaca 37 shotgun appears in 16 Blocks as the weapon of choice for N.Y.P.D. SWAT officers during the hostage situation aboard the bus.
H&K MP5A3
The H&K MP5A3 appears in the film being used by N.Y.P.D. SWAT, most notably during the raid on the apartment at the beginning of the film, and during the hostage situation on the bus. As with most SWAT weapons, they are fitted with tactical flashlights in the foregrips.
M40 Sniper Rifle
During the hostage situation aboard the bus N.Y.P.D. snipers can be seen with M40 sniper rifles. One is later used by a SWAT sniper at the courthouse to kill one of the corrupt cops as he's attempting to kill Detective Jack Mosley (Bruce Willis).
Beretta M92FS
While transporting Eddie Bunker (Mos Def) to the trial, Mosley (Bruce Willis) and Eddie are attacked by assassins wielding suppressed Beretta M92FS pistols.
Unknown Shotgun
During the encounter with Detective Frank Nugent (David Morse) at the bar, Mosley takes a double-barreled shotgun of unknown make and model with the stock and barrel sawed off from behind the counter and uses it to shoot one of the corrupt officers, then hold off the others while he and Eddie make their escape, dumping it in a trash can outside. When asked why he discarded the weapon, Mosley replied that it hadn't been fired in 20 years and that it was luck that it fired at all.
Smith & Wesson Model 640
After losing his Glock at the bar, Mosley returns to his home and retrieves a Smith & Wesson Model 640 revolver from his closet. He then uses it as a backup weapon throughout the film after taking another Glock from one of the corrupt cops pursuing him. Eddie uses it briefly when he sneaks up on Nugent from behind, holding him at gunpoint with it while Mosley handcuffs him. These were authorized (and may still be) as back-up and off-duty guns for NYPD. It is an all steel hammerless J-frame with a 5 shot cylinder that fires only .38 special ammo.
Walther PPK
When persuing Mosley and Eddie through Chinatown, Nugent (David Morse) pulls a Walther PPK from a hidden ankle holster, firing both it and his Glock 17 akimbo when he busts into the room where the two are holed up when they make their escape in the elevator.
