Forty Thousand Horsemen

Forty Thousand Horsemen is a 1940 Australian war movie directed by Charles Chauvel. Three young Australians, Red, Larry and Jim, join the army at the beginning of World War I and are assigned to the Australian 4th Light Horse Brigade, which is serving in Palestine. The three eventually take part in the march to Ogratina, the Battle of Romani, the Battle of Gaza, and in the attack during the Battle of Beersheba, which was the last cavalry charge in modern warfare. This battle is also featured in the 1987 movie The Lighthorsemen.

Some Turkish soldiers use Snider-Enfield Mk.II** rifles.
Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk.III
ANZAC soldiers are seen with Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk.III rifles. Some Turkish soldiers can also be seen with SMLEs.
Machine Guns
Maxim MG 08/15
The Maxim 08/15 is used by German and Turkish troops. It's not actually fired by the gunners. They just wiggle with the Maxim.

Turkish soldiers can briefly be seen with Maxim MG08s during the Battle of Beersheba on October 31, 1917. The firing scenes were taken from the 1930 movie All Quiet on the Western Front.
