It is based on the book of the same name by Daniel Kon, which consists of a series of interviews with the young soldiers who fought in the Falklands War. The script was written mainly by Kon himself in collaboration with the director. This film was shot in Buenos Aires and premiered on August 2, 1984. The quality of the feature is due to the fact that it was filmed in 16 mm and then enlarged to 35 mm.
