Peninsula (Korean title: 반도, Bando; "Peninsula", marketed internationally as Train to Busan Presents: Peninsula) is a 2020 action-horror movie directed by Yeon Sang-ho and is a standalone sequel to 2016's Train to Busan. The film follows Jung-seok (Gang Dong-won), a former Korean Marine living in Hong Kong four years after the outbreak in the previous movie and a NATO quarantine of Korea. Jung-seok and his brother-in-law Chul-min are approached with an offer from the local triads to retrieve a truck containing 20 million US dollars from the abandoned Korea and is promised half of the money, but as the mission goes wrong, the two are left behind in the zombie and bandit-run former nation and must survive.
The following weapons were used in the film Peninsula:
Pistols
SIG-Sauer P226
Colt M1911A1
The Colt M1911A1 appears to be the standard pistol of Unit 631's members, being used by Captain Seo (Koo Kyo-hwan) and Sergeant Hwang (Kim Min-jae).
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
Rifles
Colt M4A1
The Colt M4A1 is used by multiple characters throughout the movie.
Daewoo K1A
The Daewoo K1A is used by Min-jung and her family.
Daewoo K2
The Daewoo K2 is seen with multiple Korean military officers in the film's prologue.
Launchers
DefTech 37mm launcher
The members of Unit 631 use a DefTech 37mm launcher loaded with flares as a tool for attracting and distracting zombies. The launcher is portrayed as a pump-action launcher like the China Lake Launcher in the movie, with the pumping of the grip rotating the launcher's cylinder.
