Quantum of Solace
The following firearms were used in the film Quantum of Solace:
Heckler & Koch UMP-9
A suppressed version of a Heckler & Koch UMP-9 is seen on the teaser poster. It's chambered for the 9x19mm (as indicated by the curved "banana" style magazine.) James Bond (Daniel Craig) uses this again briefly (this time unsupressed) during the pre-titles Aston Martin chase to dispatch the last of Mr. White's gunmen and evade capture.
Heckler & Koch G36C
The gunner in the first Alfa Romeo sedan during the pre-title Aston Martin chase uses a Heckler & Koch G36C assault rifle, scoring several ineffective hits on Bond's DBS and a more damaging shot on a box truck's tires. Many of Greene's henchman can be seen with a G36C during the boat chase scene.
FN Minimi Paratrooper
An FN Minimi (Paratrooper model with retractable stock) is used by the gunner in the second Alfa Romeo chasing Bond in Siena. He also uses it to dispatch a Carabinieri SUV that took up pursuit behind them.
Beretta 92SB
The corrupt Bolivian police officers hired by Dominic Greene use Beretta 92SB pistols when they pull over Bond and Camille's Range Rover, drawing the pistols on Bond when he discovers his friend Rene Mathis in the back of the truck. When Mathis stirs as Bond removes him from the back, though, they shoot and fatally wound Mathis. Bond reacts by disarming one of the officers and killing them with one of the Berettas before disarming and throwing the pistol away. The Carabineri officer who fires at the Alfa Romeo in the car chase scene also has a 92SB.
SIG-Sauer P226
Mr. White's sleeper agent, Henry Mitchell (Glenn Foster), uses a SIG-Sauer P226 as his sidearm. He draws it while in Siena to shoot and kill one of M's bodyguards and then fires on Bond and M before running off. He uses this gun for the duration of the Siena chase scene. Later in the movie, Bond is seen taking a P226 from another agent during an escape from his arrest in the hotel lift in Bolivia. He then uses it to raid the Perla de las Dunas, ultimately losing the weapon when Dominic Greene attacks him as the hotel burns. It is strange that when you see Bond firing it changes into a Rail framed P226.
Walther PPK
Bond's main pistol throughout the film is a Walther PPK, which he uses until he loses it in the freefall scene after his plane crashes. He then acquires the P226 from a MI6 agent he escapes from in the lift. Bond is then seen using the PPK again to threaten Vesper's boyfriend Yusuf in the near the ending.
I do have one kinda stupid question. Is this Bonds' classic .32 PPK or is it a .380? The only reason i ask is because in the shot where bond is trying to grab it while hanging upside down the bore looks a little bigger than .32, but that could just be me. The PPK, serial number beginning: 246 is a 7.65mm. The same PPK was used in the pre-title sequence of Casino Royale.
Ok, I'm fairly certain that in the shot above, his gun briefly switches to a Walther PP.
Smith & Wesson Model 60
Bond discovers a Smith & Wesson Model 60 when he opens Edmund Slate's briefcase in front of Camille.
Rohrbaugh-R9s Stealth
The pistol that Camille (Olga Kurylenko) uses appears to be a Rohrbaugh R9s (the 'S' model indicates that it is the version with sights, the black finish on the slide means that it is the 'Stealth' edition). She first draws it on Bond (Daniel Craig) when he discovers that the man he was impersonating was sent to kill her, firing a shot that misses him, but forces him out of her car. She then attempts to kill General Medrano with the gun after Bond crashes into the General's yacht, but loses it as Bond rescues her. Finally, she uses the gun to dispatch two of Medrano's men and Medrano himself at the Perla de las Dunas.
- That is correct, and nice job btw. In the scene where she is cleaning the gun there is a very quick shot of the mag release which is on the bottom of the grip- a rohrbaugh feature--GlocksRevilACP 04:15, 30 March 2009 (UTC).
IMI Uzi
Dock guards in Haiti carry the Uzi submachine gun. This is a original full size model, judging by the stock and handgrips, although curiously the Uzi that the gate guard is carrying lacks the folding stock.
Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDW
General Medrano's men carry Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDWs when they saw Bond escaping. These had the UMP style stocks attached to them instead of the PDW folding stock.
SIG SG 542
During the boat chase in Haiti, one of General Medrano's men uses a SIG SG 542 assault rifle. When Bond smashes into their boat with his own, the gunner is seen either clearing a jam or attempting to reload the rifle and is unable to get it operational again before Bond makes a second pass and destroys the boat's outboard engine.
Taurus PT92
A Taurus PT92 is used by Elvis (Anatole Taubman) and Greene's other bodyguard.
M60E3
An M60E3 is used by a helicopter door gunner.
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
CIA agents use Heckler & Koch MP5A3s when trying to apprehend Bond in Bolivia.
M4A1
The CIA Special Activities Division Team in Bolivia use M4A1 carbines when trying to catch Bond.
- the barrel looks a little too short to me The Winchester
Perhaps a Colt Model 933?
- Yea, probably. The Winchester
FN FAL
An FN FAL is used by a guard at the Perla Duna.
unidentified pistols
Two henchmen fire at Bond with unidentified pistols at the Perla Duna.
SIG P210
Bond acquires the SIG P210 with gold inlayed engraving from General Medrano's room when he tries to rescue Camille. Seeing that Camille is paralyzed with fear from the fire that has engulfed the room, Bond prepares to kill Camille with it to put her out of her misery, but then uses it to aid their escape when Bond sees a hydrogen fuel cell that he blows up to create a route out.
