Ghost Recon
I didn't mind it, thanks for letting me know ^^ Conedotexe (talk) 09:28, 23 July 2017 (EDT)
Jolly roger
As a note, "jolly roger" is a term for all pirate flags, not just the traditional skull and crossbones, so I figured I'd be specific. Plus, we've already said "jolly roger" once in that sentence. Evil Tim (talk) 02:30, 26 October 2017 (EDT)
LMG-E
It's called "Krytac Trident LMG-E" and that's official name. I'm pretty sure you used the name from this Evike page, but you didn't read the description of it (which don't has any "MKII" in it) and in the official page you can see "MKII Series" tab with only PDW, SRB and SPR types and LMG is not part of it. Ubisoft used real designation (for an airsoft gun) in Rainbow Six Siege instead of "MK249" from Ghost Recon Wildlands. While it's minor and airsoft, I used proper name in my edit. I would but...
A certain someone has already declared an intention to fart around with it, and you know what happens when he does that. I could unlock it temporarily if there's some specific thing you want to do with it? Evil Tim (talk) 09:49, 17 December 2017 (EST)
Day of the Dead (2008) edits
Just curious. What motivated you to change the Bulgarian AR (AK clone) in the film to an original AK47. Is there any article or information that backs this up? Since this film was shot in Bulgaria I find it very unusual that they would have an original Soviet battlefield AK47 when they themselves make tons of AK clones that look just like the firearm in the screencaps. Thanks. :D MoviePropMaster2008 (talk) 19:11, 11 January 2018 (EST)
Fuze and fuse
From what I've read this is a clip / magazine thing: fuse is either "circuit breaker" or "burning wick," while fuze is "mechanical detonator." Evil Tim (talk) 12:01, 2 May 2018 (EDT)
Threads
Yeah, I remember recommending you this movie (frankly, we're overdue for another one in this vein). As for its horrific nature and its infamous final scene, you can at least rest assured that in studies of radiation exposure and unborn babies (such as after the Japanese atomic bombings and the Chernobyl incident), babies with radiation-induced birth defects generally don't survive to be born. Yes, leaving the question of who fired nukes first ambiguous would also fit the theme of "We all lose" better. Did you get to watch The Day After or By Dawn's Early Light as well?
If you're still up for reading more about how close we are to nuclear annihilation (the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists' "Doomsday Clock" puts us at a mere 100 seconds to midnight) you may want to get copies of the books titled How the End Begins by Ron Rosenbaum and Command and Control by Eric Schlosser. The Cold War may officially be over, but the doomsday machine (if you will) is still active, especially with Russia boasting about their new nuclear superweapons like "Status 6" and the like. --Mazryonh (talk) 14:40, 12 May 2021 (EDT)
L98A2?
A few questions about yoor addition of the L98A2 category, firstly are you sure that image is of an L98A2, as all examples I have seen have the newer full polymer A2 handguards. Secondly, which variant did you mean this to be, as the L98A2 is not manually opperated, it is semi only with the normal gas system. The manual gun is the L98A1. Lastly, what makes you think the guns in Blood Red Sky are L98A2s? The only difference would be the markings and lack of a selector which is not visible in any of the screenshots. --commando552 (talk) 05:23, 2 August 2021 (EDT)
