Poppies Are Also Flowers (also known as The Poppy Is Also a Flower, Danger Grows Wild and The Opium Connection) is a 1966 made for TV adventure movie directed by Terence Young and based on an idea by Ian Fleming. An international group of anti-narcotics agents struggles against drug traffic in the Middle East and Europe.

Smith & Wesson Military & Police revolvers are used in the opening scene by Benson (Stephen Boyd) and his men. Later M&P revolvers are carried by several of Colonel Salem's officers.
A Colt Model 1903 is Coley Jones' (E.G. Marshall) personal weapon. In the scene in the Tehran hotel the pistol is taken from Jones by Linda Benson (Angie Dickinson). In the final scene Linda Benson holds the pistol herself and then returns it to Jones.

During several scenes in the Iranian desert, Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk.III rifles are seen in the hands of various brigands.
At least one of Colonel Salem's men carries a rifle that looks like a Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk.I.

During several scenes in the Iranian desert sporterized rifles, supposedly Mausers, are carried by various brigands and drug traders.
