Beyond the Front Line

Beyond the Front Line (Finnish: Etulinjan edessä) is a 2004 war film directed by Åke Lindman. Finland 1942: The Finnish Army uses all available forces on the Eastern Front to stop the overpowering Red Army. Lieutenant Harry Järv commands the reconnaissance and combat squads of the 61th Infantry Regiment. He and his men continue to go behind the front lines to deliberately attack Russian forces. They are very successful, but the mental pressure for Järv's men is growing, not least because the Russians use snipers against them.

The majority of the Finnish troops including Harry Järv (Tobias Zilliacus) is armed with Suomi KP/-31s.
PPSh-41
Soviet soldiers use PPSh-41s. Some PPSh-41s are equipped with 35 round stick magazines.

Finnish and Soviet soldiers are seen with DP-28s.
Maxim M/09-21
A Finnish heavy machine gun team is armed with a Maxim M/09-21.

Maxim M1910s are used by both sides.
Degtyaryov DT
Finnish StuGs are armed with Degtyaryov DTs. These StuGs are also used in Tali-Ihantala 1944.

Finnish soldiers use Harjoituskranaatti M41 ("practice grenade M41") stick grenades.
Varsikranaatti M41
During the night raid Harry use correct Varsikranaatti M41 stick grenades without the belt clips.
M32 Egg grenade
