True History of the Kelly Gang George MacKay as Ned Kelly, Essie Davis as Ned's mother Ellen, Nicholas Hoult as Constable Fitzpatrick, and Russell Crowe as bushranger Harry Power who was Ned's mentor. It's worth noting that despite being entitled "True History...", the film is actually a highly fictionalized depiction of Kelly's life, with some scenes shot in nearly surrealistic manner.
Note: the height of the image gradually shrinks throughout the film by adding black bars on top and bottom, symbolising the narrowing view through the visor of Kelly's signature helmet. As the bars are cropped on the presented screenshots, their height radically differ - not an error but a result of creative idea of the filmmakers.

Revolvers Colt Walker Heritage Commemorative Constable Fitzpatrick (Nicholas Hoult ) carries a Colt Walker revolver throughout the movie. This is a Heritage Commemorative reproduction with gold banner on the left side and Samuel Walker's and Samuel Colt's images on the right side. Like the original 1847 Walker, this is a cap and ball gun.
