Joelle Carter
Joelle Marie Carter (born 10 October 1972) is an American actress born in Thomasville, Georgia. As the daughter of a U.S. Army soldier, she and her family moved often throughout the United States. She attended high school in Albany, Georgia, and enrolled at Augusta State University on a full athletic scholarship for swimming and cross-country. She studied acting at the William Esper Studio and has an extensive resume, appearing in numerous bit parts on television shows and in films; usually romantic comedies. She is perhaps best known for playing Ava Crowder in the FX series Justified.
