The following weapons were used in Season 1 of the television series Torchwood
Pistols Tokyo Marui Hi Capa 4.3 Torchwood agents Dr. Owen Harper (Burn Gorman ), Ianto Jones (Gareth David-Lloyd ), Toshiko Sato (Naoko Mori ), Susie Costello (Indira Varma ) and later Gwen Cooper (Eve Myles ) carry the Tokyo Marui Hi Capa 4.3 (standing in for a real life compact M1911 variant). The airsoft guns were used due to strict firearms controls in the UK and the reduced insurance cost during filming. Government operatives, UNIT soldiers and minor characters are also seen with the weapon.
