Alejandro sniper rifle - 7.62x54mmR

The Alejandro is a Cuban sniper rifle made by Unión de Industrias Militares, Cuba's state-owned defense industry. The name comes from Fidel Castro's codename used when he was hiding out in the Sierra Maestra mountains of Cuba, which also happens to be his middle name. It is speculated to be based on the Accuracy International Precision Marksman.

This is an image commonly attributed online to be an image of an Alejandro rifle; it is in fact a photoshopped mockup of one, using an image of an Accuracy International Arctic Warfare as a base (one of the IMFDB's own, in fact - this one, with this image's scope), and not an authentic Alejandro. The real Alejandro has dark, almost black furniture, and a different shock absorber design.
