Variants made after 2013 do not have the same muzzle device (a modified version of the MPX-SD's suppressor baffle core) as the BATFE ruled that it was a suppressor rather than a muzzle brake (despite it actually making the gun louder) and classified the MPX-C as a Title II NFA weapon.
