Shakedown is a 1988 action thriller starring Peter Weller as Ronald Dalton, a New York public defender who finds that his drug dealer client who is accused of shooting an undercover NYPD officer may be involved in a deeper case of corruption involved other officers in the department. Dalton then enlists the help of veteran NYPD detective Richie Marks (Sam Elliott) to help uncover the truth. The film was directed by James Glickenhaus and was notable for featuring a .45 Magnum pistol, namely the LAR Grizzly.
