Daybreakers is a 2009 Australian-American science-fiction action horror film written and directed by Michael and Peter Spierig. The film takes place in a futuristic world overrun by vampires, and centers around a vampiric corporation which sets out to capture and farm the remaining humans while researching a substitute for human blood. Ethan Hawke plays vampire hematologist Edward Dalton, whose work is interrupted by human survivors led by former vampire "Elvis" (Willem Dafoe), who has a cure that can save the human species.
The following weapons were used in the film Daybreakers:
When Dr. Edward Dalton (Ethan Hawke) arrives at Bromley Marks near the end of the film two security guards draw Glock 34s and train them on him briefly.
Beretta 92FS
A small amount of vampire soldiers carry the Beretta 92FS as a sidearm, which includes Frankie Dalton.
Heckler & Koch MP5
MP5A3s (along with a few MP5A2s) are used as the standard weapon for the vampire soldiers, they are all fitted with some sort of underbarrel launcher and fire tranquilizer rounds since their main job is to hunt down remaining humans to harvest their blood. They typically have CCOs mounted on them or green laser sights (which actually help them aim since they can only view daylight scenes through video cameras mounted on their helmets).
SA Vz.61 Skorpion
Two vampire soldiers can be seen armed with SA Vz.61 Skorpions briefly when they converge on the newly cured vampire soldiers.
Double Barrel Shotgun-Crossbow combo
Crossbow Pistol
Some of the humans used Crossbow Pistols, most notably Audrey Bennett (Claudia Karvan).
Crossbow
Used by the remaining surviving humans, including Dr. Edward Dalton (Ethan Hawke).
DefTech 1315 Gas Gun
The DefTech 1315 Gas Gun is briefly seen being used by a police officer in the new report Dr. Edward Dalton is watching in his car, the officer uses it to disperse a riot of people desperate due to the blood shortage.
