Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is a 2005 action comedy that marked the feature film directorial debut of Shane Black, who also wrote the screenplay. Robert Downey Jr. stars in the film as Harry Lockhart, a burglar who finds himself unwittingly doing well in an acting audition following a botched job at Christmas. He then teams up with a private investigator (Val Kilmer) as they are pursued by killers.
The following weapons were used in the film Kiss Kiss Bang Bang:
Gay Perry (Val Kilmer) carries a NAA .22 Magnum Mini-Revolver. He incorrectly refers to it as a derringer and gives it a pejorative nickname because "it's only good for a couple shots, then you gotta drop it for something better." It is used from a very unusual place late in the film.

Harry: Wow! I was glad you had a gun in there. For a second, I actually thought you could do that, like it was some big gay thing.
The gun that is planted in Harry's (Robert Downey Jr.) hotel room is a Ruger SP101. Harmony Faith Lane (Michelle Monaghan) uses it by accident in the park and Harry uses it in a mathematically inaccurate game of Russian roulette at the clinic.
What appears to be a Colt Detective Special is used by Harlan Dexter (Corbin Bernsen), who is seen on a television in the role of Johnny Gossamer in a movie adaptation one of the Joe Chester novels. This clip is actually from Dead Aim, a movie that Bernsen previously starred in.
