Sniper: Weapons of Retaliation (original title: Snayper. Oruzhie vozmezdiya ) is a 2009 Russian-Belarusian war film. The main character is Sr. Lt. (later Maj.) Yashin (Dmitriy Pevtsov ), a Russian officer assigned to first lead a group of Russian snipers to fight off the German onslaught in Stalingrad and later, in 1945, to combat a German sniper team, guarding Hitler's secret weapon.
The movie was filmed in two versions: the original film and made for TV mini series.
