The Anderson Tapes is a 1971 neo-noir crime drama based on Lawrence Sanders' 1970 novel, starring Sean Connery—in one of his first post-James Bond roles—as a charismatic recently released safecracker operating under the scrutiny of heavy surveillance. Christopher Walken made his debut as a young criminal who joins Anderson's team.
