Lee Van Cleef (1925-1989)

Clarence Leroy "Lee" Van Cleef, Jr. (January 9, 1925 – December 16, 1989) was an American actor who is widely known for his roles in Westerns and action movies. He appeared in such movies as High Noon (1952), The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance (1962), For a Few Dollars More (1965), The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly (1966). In 1952-1989 Lee van Cleef appeared in about 90 movies and over 100 TV episodes. Lee van Cleef died from a heart attack in 1989. His gravestone reads: Lee Van Cleef 'Best of the Bad' Love and Light.
