The Hit

The Hit is a 1984 crime drama directed by Stephen Frears (The Grifters , The Queen ) starring John Hurt , Terence Stamp , Laura del Sol, and in his very first feature film, Tim Roth . The film was shot almost entirely on location in Spain and features Spanish firearms almost exclusively.

Unidentifiable revolver
A British plainclothes officer checks his revolver in the prologue. It makes only a brief appearance, and given the glare of the windshield, proper identification is pretty much impossible. It appears to be some sort of side-break revolver.
