Outside the Law is a 2002 action movie directed by Jorge Montesi and starring Cynthia Rothrock as a black ops operative Julie Cosgrove. During a failed operation of Colombia Julie's comrades-in-arms, including her boyfriend, perish, and Julie suspects a treachery. When she finds out that her boss wants her dead, she hides in a small community in Florida. When Julie tries to help a local young couple, she has to confront a drug mafia.
The following weapons were used in the film Outside the Law:
In the climactic scene Julie Cosgrove (Cynthia Rothrock) draws a Smith & Wesson 5906 from nowhere and uses it to finish the long story of treachery.
Submachine Guns
Intratec TEC-DC9
Julie Cosgrove's (Cynthia Rothrock) main weapon during the operation in Colombia is an Intratec pistol, converted to full auto. Same gun is seen in hands of Delgado's bodyguard (it appears to be the same movie prop). The sling is fitted to metal clip in the back of the gun, so the gun appears to be TEC-DC9 rather than TEC-9. The gun lacks the barrel shroud but the barrel itself appears to be of stardard lenght, not shorten, like on TEC-9 Mini or AB-10.
Sten Mk II/Mk III Hybrid
During the operation in Colombia one of the bodyguards of drug lord Delgado is armed with a Sten with the buttstock removed (this is possible but not recommended as the stock helps support the receiver end cap). The weapon appears to use the rear receiver and trigger pack of a Sten Mk II, but the front end is from a Sten Mk III as noted by its fixed magazine well and top rib.
Sa.25
During the operation in Colombia an unnamed operative is armed with a submachine gun that appears to be an Sa.25 (or possibly but less credible, Sa.26).
Shotguns
Mossberg 590 Cruiser
During the shootout on the drug factory one of Peyton's henchmen is armed with a Mossberg 590 Cruiser with Ghost Ring Sights and heat shield. Julie (Cynthia Rothrock) disarms him and uses the shotgun until she is in turn disarmed by martial artist Cho Sung (James Lew).
Assault Rifles
M16 Carbine
During the operation in Colombia Julie (Cynthia Rothrock), her boyfriend Brian Downing (Jonathan Dwayne), and some of Delgado's men carry M16 carbines with A1-receivers and the barrels cut down to about 10". In the climactic scene Ken Crowley (Charles Strong) is armed with a same looking carbine.
Arsenal AR-M1F
During the operation in Colombia one of the bodyguards of drug lord Delgado carries an AK with black furniture, a large muzzle compensator and unhooded front sight. It appears to be Arsenal AR-M1F with aftermarket modifications. During the scene bodyduards in dark red shirt and in olive shirt switch their guns with each other due to a continuity error. Same looking AK is seen in hands of Peyton's henchman during the shootout on the drug factory.
Norinco Type 56-1
During the operation in Colombia another bodyguard carries an AK with hooded front sight, black furniture, AKM-style slant compensator, and the folding stock is removed. It appears to be a Norinco Type 56-1 with aftermarket modifications. During the scene bodyduards in dark red shirt and in olive shirt switch their guns with each other due to a continuity error. Same looking AK is seen in hands of Peyton's henchman during the shootout on the drug factory.
Ruger Mini-14 (customized)
During the operation in Colombia Ken Crowley (Charles Strong) is armed with a semi-auto rifle that looks similar to a Ruger AC556K but appears to be a customized Ruger Mini-14 with folding stock (see talk page). During the shootout on Peyton's drug factory one of henchmen carries same looking rifle.
