Violet Evergarden (ヴァイオレット・エヴァーガーデン Vaioretto Evāgādenn) is a 2018 anime of the studio "Kyoto Animation Co., Ltd." directed by Taichi Ishidate that was broadcasted on Netflix. Violet Evergarden tells the story of Violet, who heard words on the battlefield that she can not forget. These words, whose meaning she does not yet know, came from someone she loved very much. Some time passed on the continent of Telesis and the great war that divided the continent into a north and south half ended, while people could welcome a new generation. The young Violet, once known as a "weapon," left the battlefield to start a new life at CH Postal Service. Her new journey now begins as an "Auto Memories Doll", bringing her into contact with many different people, emotions and forms of love. All this just to search for the meaning of the words she once heard.

The Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk.III* rifle is used by Garderik and Ctrigall troops including Aidan Field. The Garderik Empire has references to the British Empire and Ctrigall is based on the Russian Empire. Violet is also seen with a SMLE that she fires one handed during the Battle of Intense.

The Garderik insurrectionary Isidor uses a Carcano Carbine equipped with a grenade launcher in Episode 12.
