The Foreigner is a 2017 action thriller film starring Jackie Chan as Ngoc Minh Quan, a British-Vietnamese citizen whose daughter is killed in a bombing in London. When he tries to get the names of the bombers, Quan is thwarted by Liam Hennessey (Pierce Brosnan), a British government official who apparently knows their identities. Quan then uses his skills as a former Special Forces soldier to get the men responsible. The film was adapted from a 1992 novel written by Stephen Leather and was directed by Martin Campbell, who reunites with Brosnan for the first time since the actor's debut as James Bond in GoldenEye (1995).
The following weapons were used in the film The Foreigner:
A Beretta 92FS is seen used by an Authentic IRA man during a shootout with Quan (Jackie Chan).
Glock 17
A Glock 17 is used by another Authentic IRA man during a shootout with Quan.
Heckler & Koch USP
A Heckler & Koch USP is another pistol Liam Hennessy uses at one point. An Authentic IRA gunman also use one such pistol during the apartment shootout with Quan.
Heckler & Koch USP Compact
Quan is seen holding Liam's Heckler & Koch USP Compact after stealing it from his room's drawer. Presumably Quan disposes of it afterwards as it is not seen again for the remainder of the movie.
Makarov PM
A suppressed Makarov PM pistol is used by Sean Morrison (Rory Fleck-Byrne) to assassinate a target.
Many IRA bodyguards use the standard AR-18. Quan later acquires one from the IRA gunmen who were hunting him down then modifies it by removing the stock and fitting an improvised suppressor on it. He later smuggles it to the apartment of the Authentic IRA bombers from inside a toolbag.
A Colt XM177 Commando can be seen held by Quan (Jackie Chan) in a photo taken during his service days in Vietnam. It is hard to tell if it is either an XM177E1 or XM177E2 in the photograph as it is cut off towards the bottom.
