The Black Triangle (Chyornyy treugolnik) is a Soviet 1981 made for TV three-part detective movie directed by Sergey Tarasov and based on the novel by Yuri Klarov. The story is set in January 1918, soon after the Russian revolution. The Orthodox church treasure vault is robbed, priceless items stolen. Soviet Ugolovny Rozysk (crime police) detectives, assisted by a former detective of Russian Imperial police, hold investigation.
The following weapons were used in the film The Black Triangle (Chyornyy treugolnik):
Nagant M1895 revolvers are most widely used handguns in the film. They are seen in hands of Deputy Chief of Moscow Ugolovny Rozysk Leonid Kosachevsky (Konstantin Grigoryev), Ugolovny Rozysk and Militsia personnel Yuriy Volzhanin (Yuri Smirnov), Filimon Artyukhin (Aleksey Mironov), Viktor Sukhov (Viktor Chebotaryov) and Pavel Vasilyevich (Pavel Vinnik), former Russian Army Col. Vasily Messmer (Leonid Kulagin), Anarchists Muratov alias "Father" (Semyon Sokolovsky) and Ritus (Boris Khmelnitskiy), crime boss Nikita Makhov (Leonid Markov), criminal Konstantin Priletaev alias "Sailor" (Gennadi Chulkov), and some unnamed minor characters. All revolvers are of anachronistic post-1930 version.
Pistols
FN Model 1903
Some minor characters carry FN Model 1903 pistols in wooden holster-stock (this is a single prop, reused in several scenes). This is a very fitting weapon, as FN 1903 pistols were issued to Moscow Imperial police.
Tokarev TT-33
Anachronistic TT-33 pistols are used by Leonid Kosachevsky (Konstantin Grigoryev), militstioneer Pavel Vasilyevich (Pavel Vinnik), and Anarchist Ritus (Boris Khmelnitskiy). Probably they stand for similar looking FN 1903.
Rifles
Mosin Nagant M1891
Mosin Nagant M1891 rifles are used by revolutionary soldiers, Soviet militsia personnel and Anarchists.
Mosin Nagant M1891/30
Mosin Nagant M1891/30 rifles, standing for original M91s, are also used by revolutionary soldiers, Soviet militsia personnel and Anarchists.
Machine Guns
Maxim M1910
A Maxim M1910 is seen in Anarchists headquarters. Maxims are also mounted on the replica of Austin armoured car.
