Streets of Fire
Theatrical Release Poster
Streets of Fire. A Rock & Roll Fable is a 1984 neo-noir action movie directed by Walter Hill . A Rock & Roll singer Ellen Aim (Diane Lane ) is kidnapped during the concert by a biker gang, led by Raven Shaddock (Willem Dafoe ). Tom Cody (Michael Paré ), a retired soldier and Ellen ex-boyfriend, is hired to rescue her. The movie was intended to start a trilogy about the adventures of Tom Cody but the failure at the box office puts an end to these plans. Nevertheless, Albert Pyun made an unofficial sequel Road to Hell in 2008, with reappearance of Paré as Cody and Deborah Van Valkenburgh as Cody's sister.
