- I'm sorry, I have another question: I also have another licensed DVD with Russian film "The Territory (Territoriya)". I don't know: will this movie licensed in USA on DVD or not or not. I still not watch this film, so I don't know, contain it firearms or not. If it contains the guns, should I create it with screenshots on main page? Pyramid Silent (talk) 10:09, 24 January 2016 (EST)

- Funny thing is he seems to have used more proper filename syntax in other screencaps - Don't get what his problem is now. He also up and removed most of a talk page before (I remember reverting it back). Like I said, some people, man.. How lucky that you get to deal with them, heh. Re: Screenshots
Yeah, sorry about that. I mainly grabbed them from my Steam Pics folder so I didn't get around to renaming them. Thanks for the heads up, though. By the way, file names aside, how did I do with the page?--SeanWolf (talk) 00:06, 26 February 2016 (EST)
007 Agent Under Fire
Would like to help re-build the 007 Agent Under Fire page, I have the original Xbox version of the game and can help bring some much higher resolution images and hopefully better descriptions. It may take me some time to build the page back up as I will have to replay the game all the way through in between my full time job.
Followup questions for you
Hi! Thanks for responding to me! I have a few followup questions: 1) Do you play games much? If so, do you play scifi shooters as well as shooters with realistic guns? Or are you generally drawn to games with more authentic firearms? 2) How much does the increasingly weird weaponry of Call of Duty games harm your enjoyment? Is it like a minor annoyance, or does it make it much harder to get into the game? THANKS!
Cuestion regarding one of the movie's title.
Hi, i wanted to create a page about the new movie that came out about heists starring Luis Tosar and i already got the screenshots but i dont know if the title should be in English traducted or original language.. The movie is called "100 Años De Perdón" or 100 Years of Forgiveness. --Death Shadow20 (talk) 15:20, 4 April 2016 (EDT)
Commando Black Ops?
Most people saying that is an Colt 933, or an Colt 733 (M4 Commando). Also some said that "Firstly, as far as I know there is no such thing as a Model 733 with a flat top, that is just a Model 933. What do you think the difference is? The gun in the game isn't a Model 933 or a 733 though, as regardless of the different design of rail, it also has a slickside upper receiver without a FA or BD. The closest match I can come up with would be a GAU-5A/A with a flash hider rather than the moderator (which was actually done) with a fictional/custom upper with a sight rail. --commando552". He said it in the link. http://www.imfdb.org/wiki/Talk:Call_of_Duty:_Black_Ops#Commando_in_Black_Ops. I'm am trying to figure it out what the gun really is. --Treliazz777 (talk) 22:23, 15 April 2016 (EDT)

Regarding Subpages and Independent Releases
I've discovered recently that my old Photos subpage I thought was deleted years ago is still intact. Though I never really valued it that much it was a nice surprise to see it after all those years and it also got me thinking on subpages - could I do one about firearms in my own short films?.. Also regarding that - as I'm filming an independent feature film for years and don't know yet what kind of release we would have I wanted to ask whether some feature independent films released on the web (YouTube) could have their own pages? There are quite a lot of films distributed through YouTube nowadays, which also had some limited theatrical run or showings. I'm hoping to do a primary example of such - Ashens and the Quest for the Gamechild in the near future. While I'm sure about the latter one (it has more or less studio-grade production and a lot of famous names attached), I felt the need to ask about those movies which were made independently on little to no budget. Considering that IMFDB covered examples like Razor Blade Smile, I think it will be just to cover some independent films of digital age, as well. --Kloga (talk) 17:46, 26 June 2016 (EDT)
- Okay, thanks, I'll consult about web releases individually. Also, I remember there was a page for 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series, was it deleted? I'm planning to do pages for 1987 animated series (as Japanese company was heavily involved in the creation of the first season, it had a animesque realistic approach to firearms which was surprisingly more or less carried through the series) and 1988 RoboCop animated series, both being, in my opinion, some of the finest representations of firearms in western animation. --Kloga (talk) 19:17, 26 June 2016 (EDT)
- A norm for the 1980's which stuck through the 90's and to this day was to draw firearms as some kind of lasers. That doesn't stop creators of RoboCop series to draw his signature Auto-9, as well as some other firearms such as Heckler & Koch P9S virtually the same as in real life. TMNT series as well smuggled some firearms, especially in the first season, even with fired rounds and good sound effects. I'll provide some detailed examples from both series when I'll get to that. --Kloga (talk) 20:45, 26 June 2016 (EDT)
TOZ-8
Just wanted to ask to wait at least a few minutes before editing article I created if work is obviously in progress - I'm a bit slow, yes, but you've changed one word in the article three minutes later and I've lost a fully stable variant of the article with four photographs and fixed stats as a result. It will take additional 8-10 minutes to finish the article and re-do it. :( --Kloga (talk) 21:38, 13 July 2016 (EDT)
- Also, there is a standalone variant named TOZ-8M, currently not seen anywhere. Should I place the photograph of it in the main article, or I can make a section for it, in case it turns up somewhere? --Kloga (talk) 21:42, 13 July 2016 (EDT)
- Thanks for answering. I have another question, it's off-topic, but since I've started the discussion, I'll probably ask here - as LAPD 2019 Blaster from Blade Runner doesn't have it's own page as a fictional firearm can I do one? It doesn't have its own page despite appearing in one movie, four videogames (three of which are already covered here and one I plan to cover as well) and re-produced numerous times as a replica. Also there are tons of unused information about it on discussion page that will look just fine, if separate page on the gun will be created. --Kloga (talk) 22:50, 13 July 2016 (EDT)
Steyr Mannlicher Model SL
Regarding Steyr Mannlicher Model SL - in fact it is more of a full working gun modified beyond belief. Blaster is basically a sawn-off rifle fitted with lots of additional details and, more importantly, instantly recognizable shape and fully intact Steyr markings. I haven't added Blaster as an appearance of Charter Arms Bulldog, though, because this indeed, was only a part. --Kloga (talk) 10:05, 14 July 2016 (EDT)
- The fact that a few non-substantial details were taken from Charter Arms Bulldog is a recent discovery and they are barely seen in the construction. I will not argue further but at least don't delete Model SL from Steyr Mannlicher page - if someone will stumble upon this in the movie, it will be useful for identification. --Kloga (talk) 10:49, 14 July 2016 (EDT)
- Good idea! Should Blade Runner still be listed in the sub-section? --Kloga (talk) 12:37, 14 July 2016 (EDT)
Just had an idea, I think, we can put to a great use.
What do you think about this? A little bit clumsy and bulky but otherwise may have a good potential. The website is growing larger and larger (20,000 articles+) and such a simple thing can not only be useful for readers (to consult), newcomers (to check) and distinguished users like me (who just can't put information like that anywhere else), but also, potentially, have much more order on Talk and Disambiguation pages. Putting re-directs for sub-sections for further ease of checking and voilà: a lot of preserved time and, more importantly, nerves. --Kloga (talk) 20:24, 15 July 2016 (EDT)
- I believe in that idea, so I will still consult further after a few improvements. Eligibility requirements have their issues to be fair. I'm not in position to judge and I'm not doing that, but it took me a while to understand why exactly Sherlock Holmes Baffled was deleted while The Great Train Robbery has a page (and to be fair, the latter is still a short film, though is a notable exception). Another example is The 6th Day which only has one firearm and it is a fictional one (it has a direct fire role, though). Keep in mind, I was puzzled by both of these recently and I'm on this website since 2010 and I re-read guidelines and rules occasionally, just in case. Also sometimes I don't remember were there any firearms in the movie or not, so it takes an additional (nearly full!) re-watch like I did for The Caller (1987) and Andrei Rublev (which was absentee from Andrei Tarkovsky's movies so I've decided to check as he tends to have at least one firearm per film). A page like this, if casually updated by numerous users, can save a lot of time for other users as well - have doubts, check the list (no firearms - problem solved). P.S. A few examples of titles which were considered non-eligible for whatever reasons on my memory. I'm sure each IMFDB user has at least a few deleted/moved/aborted articles of that kind and, as I'm still sad about each of the deleted article I've seen through years. --Kloga (talk) 21:37, 15 July 2016 (EDT)
Disambiguation Pages
I did a disambiguation page for M*A*S*H and I'll probably do one for Treasure Island as well - we have at least two adaptations. I remember another one being here, with Michael Halsey, but it seems it was deleted for whatever reason (probably for only having flintlocks, which is kind of inevitable considering the setting and was considered eligible in later, better written articles). --Kloga (talk) 21:41, 15 July 2016 (EDT)

A Few Style Guide Questions
Thanks for correcting. I'm not insisting on adding brackets to an actor's name on his or her actor page - as you may have noticed, I do that only for image descriptions as it's the quicker way to have name in bold on such a page and I just thought that in bold it looks nicer. As for the redirects - I haven't found anything on doing that for actor pages - do you mean re-directs in general? I've discovered how to do them rather recently and usually go for a slightly idiosyncratic way - I firstly name the page with a re-direct title and then correct it to the normal one. Is it okay?
Also I've noticed that Style Guide says "Actors need to be in control of a particular weapon to receive an entry. This would exclude actors grappling for a weapon, or holding up a weapon in a plastic bag." The rule is probably about a common scene seen in procedurals with policemen and/or forensics holding a gun in a plastic bag, so exceptions like actually handling the gun in a bag are allowed (Mr. Brooks comes to mind) but I still wonder if Mikhail Krug's page is okay considering that rule. Despite a plastic bag he is clearly holding a PM himself (as he orders the murder) and, as it's his only screen appearance of that type, I hope it can stay. --Kloga (talk) 22:54, 20 July 2016 (EDT)
- That's exactly the type of a scene I was talking about as seen in nearly every episode of nearly every police procedural ever. I have another question, which is slightly off-topic: are you using this nickname elsewhere? There are a DeviantArt, a Tumblr, Twitter and YouTube accounts which use "Funkchinaman" for a name and I just wonder are any of these people you. --Kloga (talk) 23:13, 20 July 2016 (EDT)

Luke Cage
Is it a bit too early for it to have a page on it's own? Teaser trailer released at Comic Con has lots of firearms. Check out the draft in my sandbox. Any help with identification is also appreciated. --Kloga (talk) 16:15, 26 July 2016 (EDT)
- Okay, thanks, I'll move it to it's own page. I'm working on a few more sandbox things, I'll wrote on them when I 'll be ready. --Kloga (talk) 18:37, 26 July 2016 (EDT)
- This way much more people will join in to identify the firearms, I hope. Therefore, at the time of actual release in September we will already have one large scene with some of firearms covered. Moreover, I doubt we will get cleaner shots on those in the series, as well. --Kloga (talk) 19:29, 26 July 2016 (EDT)
Worms 3D
So here it is. Is it eligible? Considering Team Fortress 2 is, that is probably on the same level. Also, I'm puzzled how they were able to smuggle a HK416D which is commercially available since 2005 in a 2003 game. That's probably the reason why it have slightly more images then needed for it. --Kloga (talk) 20:42, 26 July 2016 (EDT)
