Luke Cage is the television adaptation of the Marvel superhero comic book of the same name. Set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the series follows Luke Cage (Mike Colter, who was introduced in Jessica Jones), who due to a sabotaged experiment, now possesses super strength and unbreakable skin. The series is the third of four Netflix series (following [[Daredevil (2014) and Jessica Jones) that will eventually culminate in a 2017 miniseries featuring Marvel's street level heroes known as The Defenders.
