The Mirror (Zerkalo)

The Mirror (Zerkalo ) is a poetic semi-autobiographical arthouse drama directed by Andrei Tarkovsky . Set in three different time periods it uses a lot of archival footage of real wars (World War II, Spanish Civil War) and conflicts (1969 Sino-Soviet border conflict), which are seen as a historical background for the plot.

Military instructor Shirokov (Yuriy Gavrilov ), a World War II veteran with concussion, is also seen handling this shotgun.
