Insp. "Dirty " Harry Callahan's (Clint Eastwood) sidearm is still the Smith & Wesson Model 29 in the final installment of the series.

Callahan checks to make sure his Model 29 was indeed empty by pulling the trigger. This isn't a recommended method though, since if it isn't empty, a nasty surprise awaits.

Uzi

When crime kingpin Lou Janero's henchmen open fire at Callahan during their attempts to kill him at a freeway exit and the restaurant, some of the assassins are armed with Uzi submachine guns.
