The St. Valentine's Day Massacre
M1928A1
This weapon is used by Capone's (Jason Robards) hitmen during the Massacre. This is a big mistake because the M1928A1 was made in the 40's when this take place in the late 20's early 30's, They would more likely have used the M1928 with front pistol grip. Another mistake is the fact that in real life one Thompson held a 50 round drum while the other held a 20 round clip while in the film they both carry 50 round drums. This is also used by Frank Gusenberg (David Canary) in the scene where he tries to kill Capone's men.
M1928
In the drive by scene Moran (Roger Corman) and one of his men can be seen using an M1928. This is used in several occasions in the film. It is also seen in the hands of Capone on the poster.
12 Double Barrel Shotgun
In the Massacre the two Capone hitmen disguised as police men use this on Moran's men. This is correct because it said 4 shotgun shells were fired. It is also seen being held by Peter Gusenberg (George Segal) when Frank goes into attack Capone's men.
Winchester M1912
In a street fight we can see a mobster use what looks like a Winchester Model 1912.
Colt Police Positive
The hitmen who tell Moran's men to line up on the wall during the massacre use Colt Police Positive revolvers. This makes sence to use a weapon used by Cops.
Colt Detective Special
when the fake cops check Moran's men, the fake cop pulls out a Nickel Plated Colt Detective Special. It is also held by Capone's men when they hold two people hostage during Capone's toast just before he kills them with a baseball bat, this resembles a scene from the untouchables where Capone gives a speech and then kills a man with a baseball bat.
Smith & Wesson Model 10
In the trailer we see a man killed by two men wielding Smith & Wesson Model 10 Revolvers
Colt M1911
When the fake cop is checking Moran's men he pulls out a M1911 from Frank Gusenberg.
