Don't Say a Word is a 2001 thriller film, directed by Gary Fleder (Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead , Homefront ). It is based on the novel Don't Say a Word by Andrew Klavan. The film stars Michael Douglas as a psychiatrist, whose daughter is kidnapped by a group of men, who demand that he recovers a secret from the mind of a traumatized girl.

Det. Sandra Cassidy (Jennifer Esposito ) carries a Glock 17 as her sidearm throughout the film. Sanatorium guard Arnie (Lance Reddick ) also carries a Glock 17 in the film, which Dr. Conrad (Michael Douglas ) later takes from him. Koster later relieves Conrad of his Glock near the climax. NYPD officers also seem to use them as their sidearms in the film.
