Piranha 3D is a 2010 3D horror remake of the 1978 film of the same name. The film is set in the small town of Lake Victoria as it explodes with spring break tourism. The town is then preyed upon by a vicious pack of prehistoric piranhas unleashed from beneath the ocean floor by a small earthquake, forcing the town Sheriff Julie Forester (Elisabeth Shue) and expert diver Novak Radzinsky (Adam Scott) to fight off the piranhas and to save Julie's son Jake (Steven R. McQueen) as well as his two younger siblings Laura (Brooklynn Proux) and Zane (Sage Ryan). The film's cast also includes Christopher Lloyd, Ving Rhames, and a special appearance by Richard Dreyfuss. A sequel was released in 2012.
The following weapons were used in the film Piranha 3D:
Novak Radzinsky (Adam Scott) uses a sawed-off Mossberg 500 to shoot at the piranhas while riding on a jet-ski and while helping people to get to the shore.
Deputy Fallon (Ving Rhames) uses a Smith & Wesson 3000 Shotgun to shoot at the piranhas before running out of ammo. Other deputies use this shotgun as well.
