Blind Fury Rutger Hauer as Nick Parker, a US soldier who is blinded while fighting the war in Vietnam and subsequently is taken in by local villagers, who teach him the ways of the sword. Upon returning to the States, he finds himself taking care of the son of his Vietnam buddy as they go on the run from criminals. The film was directed by Phillip Noyce , who went on to direct Clear and Present Danger Salt
