Speaking of Murder (original title Le rouge est mis ("The red light is on")) is a 1957 French crime drama directed by Gilles Grangier and starring Jean Gabin as Louis Bertain, the leader of a crime gang.

Unidentified pistol
During the robbery of the armoured car a guard draws his pistol but has no time to shoot. The pistol is seen through the windshield and hardly can be identified. It resembles a Luger but has a thicker barrel. Maybe it's a Savage 1907 that was used by French army during the Great War and so could be seen in France even in 1950s.
