Belly of the Beast
You recently added a cover pic for the film Belly of the Beast. Do you plan on actually doing this page? It's best to have at least a preliminary page ready before uploading screenshots or cover pics. This way you will not forget what you've uploaded already. Also, you need to provide more descriptions for the weapons used on the pages you've already created such as Policenauts. You need to describe where the weapon was used and by whom. If these pages were not finished yet, then you need to indicate at the top of the page that is still being worked on with a {{workinprogress}} banner. Please refer to the Rules, Standards and Principles page on what is acceptable for the site. --Ben41 18:59, 24 January 2012 (CST)
Call of Duty DS
In the future, please have screenshots and gun images ready to go BEFORE you start a page. Your page for Call of Duty will be deleted, but you can put it up again IF you have more than just descriptions for the game. --Ben41 03:05, 14 May 2012 (CDT)
TDI Vector
Before you upload an image, please crop the image so that it doesn't have a bunch of white space around it. Additionally, images should only be uploaded for gun variants that have been used in media. We do not need an image of ever configuration of the TDI Vector that exists. Only the ones that have been seen in media. --Zackmann08 20:29, 6 June 2012 (CDT)
- No worries man. Making mistakes is how I learned the rules around here too. :-) --Zackmann08 21:19, 6 June 2012 (CDT)
Remington XP-100
Are you planning to make a page for the Remington XP-100? If it hasn't appeared in anything, it needs to be removed from the Remington Arms page. --Zackmann08 12:07, 15 June 2012 (CDT)
The Apocalypse Code

- There is actually a separate tag for duplicates, {{Duplicate|File}} --Funkychinaman (talk) 20:50, 23 June 2013 (EDT)
Hembrug M95 No.3 Carbine
Hi there, thanks for creating a professional image of the Hembrug M95 No.3 Carbine and add it to the Soldier of Orange page; it is my favourite Dutch movie of all time! Question; what program do you use to create such images? I would love to be able to do this myself if possible. Thanks for letting me know, PeeWee055 (talk) 12:22, 28 June 2013 (EDT)
- Hi, thanks for the quick reaction, but I still don’t understand. Basically my problem is that I would like to know how to process a ‘raw’ image (with background etc.) to a ‘clean’ IMFDB-style image with shadow etc. I post an image below, I know it’s two different guns but you get the idea.
So you say you use Paint, but what steps do you take to get from one style to the other like in my image? Thanks for letting me know, PeeWee055 (talk) 16:11, 28 June 2013 (EDT)
- No worries, thanks a lot anyway. Will check with other users, PeeWee055 (talk) 13:16, 29 June 2013 (EDT)
- You will need a more advanced photo editing program like Photoshop to go in and erase the background. You have to make a blank white layer underneath the original image and then erase the background. You would need to zoom in pretty close to remove the background closest to the firearm. A free program like Photoshop is one called GIMP, but I haven't really used that one that much. --Ben41 (talk) 19:47, 29 June 2013 (EDT)
What is this Revolver ?
Please tell me who the name of this Revolver.
- Like it's labeled, a Korth Target .22LR. [110186] --Funkychinaman (talk) 12:19, 19 July 2013 (EDT)
Thanks
I just want to thank you for sorting through the thousands of images on this site and tagging unused and duplicate files. It's a tedious job, and I don't think many people would've volunteered for such a thing. --Funkychinaman (talk) 12:44, 5 August 2013 (EDT)
- I thank you all the same. As for the deletions, I think it's some sort of server error. People sometimes get an error trying to upload files as well. I don't think there any issue with the file itself, just the name, since it'll go through if you just change the name. --Funkychinaman (talk) 21:38, 5 August 2013 (EDT)
Deletions
I deleted a few today. Rest assured, I'm still on it. Thanks for cleaning them up. --Funkychinaman (talk) 21:10, 18 September 2013 (EDT)
Can't be edited Files.
I can't edit the body of some files. The following statement was displayed and when I try to edit.
You tried to edit a section that does not exist. It may have been moved or deleted while you were viewing the page.
Is this a error? Is there any method to solve? --KINKI'boy 10:40, 9 December 2013 (JST)

Hello, KINKI'boy. You are Japanese right? I have some question for you. Do you know any film or TV-series about Umekawa Akiyoshi. He used firearm, so this film must contain firearm. Please, tell me on my e-mail: silplit@yandex.ru If this film or TV-series a present, please, tell me, when I can find it. Pyramid Silent (talk) 16:43, 3 March 2014 (EST)
- Thanks! I heard about Aum Shinrikyo, because they have filial in my Country (I'm from Russia). In my country they named Aum Sinrikyo. I know it's a radical, extremist buddhist sect, right. And I have some question: what religion dominated in your country - Buddhism or Shinto. In Russia we have own terrorists - islamic. They a very cruel. I'm neopagans (Rodnover) and can't understand and excuse religious terrorism. But I don't understand, was the Umekawa Akiyoshi a member of Aum Shinrikyo or Japanese Red Army? I thought, that he was usual gangster. About "TATTOO<刺青>あり(There is a tattoo)". This film contains 12 gauge double barrelled shotgun. So, If I find it, may I create article about this film? Howa's military production
You wrote, that Howa produced Mortars. But, Japan hasn't own army since 1945 and doesn't export firearms. So, heavy weapon are useless. Are you sure, that Howa produced mortars? Pyramid Silent (talk) 08:12, 12 April 2014 (EDT)
- I know about JSDF, but always I think, that's not army, but civilian organisation. I think, that JSDF doesn't use firearms only martial arts like judo, aikido, karate or jiu-jitsu. And it certainly isn't army. If I'm wrong, tell me about that, please. Pyramid Silent (talk) 09:54, 12 April 2014 (EDT)
Shinto and firearms
Hello KINKI'boy! You are Japanese, right? I know, that major part of Japanese are shintoists. If you are shintoist or if you just know it, tell me, what shinto God (Kami) are patron of the firearms (guns). I want to portray his symbol on my own firearms. I have already draw slavic neopagan symbols on the buttstock, but I want to draw symbols from other polytheistic religions. Thanks. Pyramid Silent (talk) 05:36, 14 May 2014 (EDT)
My articles about Japanese films
Hello KINKI'boy! What do you think about my two articles about Japanese films. Pyramid Silent (talk) 11:56, 17 May 2014 (EDT)
- So, what can you say? I don't know much about Japanese police, so you can correct me in this films. Pyramid Silent (talk) 08:46, 24 May 2014 (EDT)
- Yes, I know, that this guns were airsoft. But I don't know is Japanese police uses assault rifles, SMG. In my country Russian police uses only Makarov PM. So, I was very surprised, when I saw Japanese police in the Stacy that was armed with an assault rifles. Also, does civial organisation like jsdf uses military firearms like those in the film Zombie Self-Defense Force. Pyramid Silent (talk) 10:33, 24 May 2014 (EDT)
- So, I understand, that this is not police, but Special Forces, like American SWAT? And what I should write in the discription: Special Forces or not? I read article in Russian wikipedia, but it doesn't contain answer. Pyramid Silent (talk) 11:04, 24 May 2014 (EDT)

Please help with translation
May I ask you to help with translation of several Japanese words here? I'm trying to understand if the screen gun is a dressed Enfield revolver or it's only inspired with this revolver? Thanks in advance! Greg-Z (talk) 09:59, 13 July 2014 (EDT)
- Thanks! So my guess was right. And thanks for link, it's very interesting. Movie props are now such advanced that even spent cartridges are seen, and muzzle flashes are now not pink as they were in 60s-80s but of proper color. By the way, I guess that in Godzilla films some real firearms and vehicles can be seen, like M2 machine guns mounted on tanks. Maybe JSDF provided some help for movie makers, or a footage was skillfully assembled into the film. But Type 64 rifles and other guns are of course flashpaper movie props. Japanese firearms
Hello, KINKI'boy! I have some question. You wrote, that you like a few firearms. But it's not japanese firearms. What do you think about some japanese firearms: Howa Type 64, Howa Type 89, Nambu Model 60, Miroku Liberty Chief, Tanegashima. And I found some interesting video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Aa0cGvq2Lg
What do you think about that: is it real firearms or replicas? Pyramid Silent (talk) 13:09, 28 September 2014 (EDT)
