Organizing firearms by type

I'm just organizing some pages. I'm not changing the text or screencaps, but I'm anal and I am grouping the firearms by type. --Jcordell 21:42, 9 May 2010 (UTC)

Martin Minler's Model 15. As seen in the series. Gunbroker auction

The Model 15 with the 4" barrel and Fuzzy Farrant grips was auctioned off on Gunbroker in September of 2014. Here is the listing with some interesting information about the revolver.

We are excited to announce the sale of Martin Milner's Smith & Wesson Model 15 .38.

This is, without a doubt, one of the rarest and most important TV guns in existence.

Beginning in the fourth season of Adam-12, Pete Malloy used this beauty, complete with the rare "Fuzzy Farrant" grip, exclusively during filming.

The serial number, K86xxx, dates this gun to 1969. While the Model 15 certainly isn't a rare gun, the history and importance of this particular gun is somewhat extraordinary. Adam-12 is still considered one of the archetypal cop shows. Adam-12 was the most accurate, honest, and realistic police show on TV. This gun played a key role.

Martin also used this gun on the TV movie, Nashville Beat. This gun has remained in the possession of Martin since his new. The transfer will be directly from Martin to the winning bidder, via FFL. This, combined with the photo-match proof, provide water-tight provenance. Included in the sale:

   Martin's Adam-12 S&W Model 15 .38
   The original grip (matching serial)
The beautiful custom gallery box by K-K Woodworking
A set of vintage Adam-12 photos clearly showing the gun
A Certificate of Authenticity signed by Martin, Judy Milner, Molly Milner, and Rick Barnes (Sale Administrator)
Martin's personal Bianchi "Cross Draw" holster

The overall condition is average, however, considering that the visible wear and imperfections were a result of L.A.P.D. Officer Pete Malloy taking down bad guys, this is certainly a good thing.

We have set a confidential reserve price on this auction.

We are open to most payment options. We can discuss this after the auction.

As many of you know from following our Facebook group and eBay auctions, this is our best item, bar none. We'd like to thank everyone for being a part of our sale!

Please don't bid if you can't complete the transaction! It takes a lot of hard work, time, and planning to make an auction like this happen! Thanks for looking! -Team MMPC

I saw this and realized it was perfect for imfdb. --Jcordell (talk) 19:57, 15 September 2014 (EDT)
