Isn't that a Wheel-lock pistol? Z008MJ (talk) 17:48, 25 July 2014 (EDT)
I will go ahead and edit it then if there are no objections. Z008MJ (talk) 17:29, 1 August 2014 (EDT)
- Is this the only gun in the game? --Funkychinaman (talk) 17:33, 1 August 2014 (EDT)
Let me guess, you want to remove it, and I just finished editing it. Anyway, I didn't create the page and I haven't played the game myself so I do not know. Z008MJ (talk) 17:45, 1 August 2014 (EDT)
I'm replaying it now, and it is indeed the only gun in the game. Jimmoy (talk) 09:30, 2 August 2014 (EDT)
- The page is certainly on the fence. It might not be eligible if the only firearm is an unidentifiable wheel-lock. --Funkychinaman (talk) 11:48, 2 August 2014 (EDT)

Dishonored is a 2012 stealth action-adventure video game developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. Inspired by the Thief series (a series highly renowned for pioneering the stealth game genre) and using similar stealth mechanics from Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Dishonored is set in the fictional, quasi-steampunk city of Dunwall reminiscent of London during the 18th and 19th century where a rat plague has infested the city and the city has radically evolved through rapid industrialization. The plot follows Corvo Attano, the assassin-turned bodyguard of the Empress of the Isles, being framed for the Empress' assassination. Hoping to clear his name, Corvo goes out to seek vengeance upon those responsible for the Empress' assassination with the aid of the Loyalist resistance group and a mysterious, amoral sorcerer called The Outsider, who gives Corvo magical powers to aid his quest. Little did Corvo realize that the Empress' assassination is part of a larger, political conspiracy within the government in Dunwall.
The following weapons can be seen in the game Dishonored:
Wheellock Pistol
Wheellock Pistols with slightly modern, mechanical embellishments are carried by the majority of the City Watch (Dunwall's equivalent of a police and security force), the Overseers (a faction of religious, brutal fanatics opposing anyone associated with The Outsider), and various characters in the game, such as Admiral Haddock and High Overseer Campbell. The pistol can be upgraded to have improved accuracy, bullet capacity, and reload speeds. When fully upgraded, the pistol basically becomes a belt-fed revolver in terms of operation and features minor changes in its appearance, such as the addition of iron sights (which are unusable and somehow "improve" hip-fire accuracy). The Wheellock Pistol appears to be firing some kind of buckshot round as bullet spreads can be seen when fired and can also fire explosive rounds if Corvo (or more specifically, the player) brings Piero the "Small-Scale Combustion Refinement"blueprints. Overall, it is a powerful, short-raged weapon capable of killing a City Watch guard with one shot and has a slightly longer range than the melee attacks of Corvo's enemies, enabling Corvo to simply dispatch them without the risk of being vulnerable to melee attacks. However, it is ineffective for stealth engagements due to its loud reports, although the player can utilize them as distractions.
