Barb Wire (1996)

The following weapons were used in the film Barb Wire:

Handguns

Desert Eagle .357

Two-tone .357 Desert Eagle pistols are the weapons of choice for Barbara "Barb Wire" Kopetski (Pamela Anderson). The pistols are also seen used by thugs and killers in the film as well. These two-tone .357 Desert Eagles were custom built for Barb Wire by Ellis Mercantile. The receiver is polished stainless steel and the slide and barrel are blued. Only two were built for Pamela Anderson to use on the show. - Phoenixent

SIG-Sauer P228

The two-tone SIG-Sauer P228 with Wilcox UITC laser used in the film Virtuosity makes an appearance. This gun was converted by Ellis Props & Graphics, who supplied the weapons for both Virtuosity and this film.

Beretta 92SB

Colonel Pryzer (Steve Railsback) uses a Beretta 92SB in the film.

Colonel Pryzer (Steve Railsback) ducks after experiencing a 'stove pipe' jam with his Beretta 92SB - 9mm. Either the blank 'stuck in the vertical position' is the filthiest blank ever (blanks are very "sooty") or it's one of those black plastic star crimped blanks. Sure looks like someone's black leather gloved 'thumb' sticking out of the pistol, doesn't it?

Browning Hi-Power

Several two-tone Browning Hi-Powers are seen in Barb's gun cabinet. The two-tone Hi-Power is also used by Alexander Willis (Xander Berkeley) - 9mm.

M16A1 with A2 style handguards - 5.56x45mm. Putting the distinctive A2 handguards on the older rifle was a method used by Movie/TV armorers to simulate A2 rifles when M16A1s were the only ones available. The same thing has been done vice-versa, Using M16A2's with A1 handguards for Vietnam War B Movies.

MGC M16 Replica Rifles

  • Seen carried by Congressionals when not being fired, these MGC M16 Rifles have A2 style handguards and A1 Birdcages attached. They also have 30 round magazines rather 'sloppily' crammed into the magazine well (the MGC guns have a proprietary magazine and the mag well doesn't take STANAG magazines without modification).

Night Club Check room

  • The hat check room of Barb's nightclub has a plethora of weapons. The denizens of Steel Harbor seem to favor several guns over all others. They usually carry M16s, Uzis, Desert Eagles or Mossberg 500 Shotguns.

  • When Barb is surrounded by the police, she is told to 'drop her weapons'. She ends up creating this impossible pile of weapons and bandoleers at her feet.
