The Hooligan Wars is a 2012 UK crime drama about professional soccer player Andy Hollington who, after an accident, needs to find another source of income for himself and his pregnant girlfriend. He ends up operating an ice cream vending truck, hence the USA title ‘The Ice Cream Wars’.
Soon he experiences that his truck turns out to be a lucrative cover for criminal activities and he gets the unwanted attention of a Polish gang. In an attempt to defend his business, he requests the assistance of a local gang but this gets him involved even deeper into a dark and rotten world…
The following weapons were used in the film The Hooligan Wars:
During the final shootout at the warehouse, a Polish thug presents a Heckler & Koch P9S to return fire on Nick’s gang.
Heckler & Koch USP
Local crime leader Nick (Peter Barrett) carries a Heckler & Koch USP throughout the movie, although in a continuity error he is seen with a Glock 17 in the final scene.
Glock 17
Several characters, on both sides of the law, can be seen using the Glock 17, most notably during the final shootout.
IMI Jericho 941 F
One of the Polish thugs branished a IMI Jericho 941 F, identifiable by the pronounced rear sight and the lack of safety/decocker on the right side of the slide.
Unidentified Pistol
A Specialist Firearms Officer carries an unknown pistol with a peculiar downwards sloped front section.
SubmachineGuns
Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDW
Another Polish thug carries a Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDW fitted with a UMP stock. In the first image the muzzle and front grip seem to be incorrectly sized, but additional screenshots show correct dimensions.
IMI Mini Uzi
Yet another Polish thug carries a IMI Mini Uzi during the shootout with Nick’s gang in the abandoned warehouse.
Assault Rifles
Heckler & Koch G36V
A Specialist Firearms Officer carries a Heckler & Koch G36 which is assumed to be the G36V export version because the lack of dual optical sight would allow a scope to be mounted.
Heckler & Koch G36KV
Other police officers use several versions of the Heckler & Koch G36KV, recognizable from the original G36K by the lack of dual optical sight.
Heckler & Koch G36C
Some other police officers carry Heckler & Koch G36C’s in several different configurations. Some of the rifles can be identified as Airsoft replicas based on the four vent holes on each side of the handguard rather than two (this handguard is slightly larger than the original and is designed to allow the replica to hold a larger battery).
Colt M4A1
One of the members of Nick’s gang is briefly seen pulling a standard Colt M4A1 carbine on the Polish thugs during the shootout at the abandoned warehouse.
AKS-74U
What appears to be an AKS-74U with a weapon light is seen pulled from an icecream vending truck just seconds before the massive shootout at the abandoned warehouse.
Shotguns
Mossberg 500 Cruiser
Polish thug Gustaw (Thomas Thoroe) carries a Mossberg 500 Cruiser as identified by the safety on top of the receiver. Andy is prominently shown with this shotgun on the movie poster but surprisingly does not use this shotgun, or any other gun, in the movie.
